This series is an homage to all the animals that were tested on during the mid to late 20th century, when space travel and technology was not yet developed. In these works, it presents an ideal world where all of these animals that did not survive are happy and in “space heaven.” This is a tribute to Laika the Dog, Felicette the Cat, Albert II the Monkey, the two bullfrogs on the OFO Satellite, and all of the animals that were a part of these experiments. May they rest in peace and we thank them for their service. Their efforts have helped us in the development of space technology. Our effects as humans toward flora and fauna is strong, and we must cherish the moments we have with animals.
